    Visiting Scholarship

    As part of the targets for increasing the proportion of women in academia, the faculty has funds available to support career development measures for early career female researchers at the faculty.

    Research periods at foreign research locations are an important component of a career in research. We would like to encourage talented female researchers who are pursuing a career in research and wish to plan a research stay abroad.

    Target Group:

    Research periods at foreign research locations are an important component of a career in research. We would like to encourage talented female researchers who are pursuing a career in research and wish to plan a research stay abroad.

    Scope:

    Researchers may apply for funding of up to €2,200 per month per person and a maximum of €6,600 euros in total.

    Use:

    The funds may be used to cover the costs incurred for up to three months of a research stay abroad. Recipients are required to submit a report of their experiences to the Officer for equal opportunities for women in science and the arts at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law.

    How to apply:

    Applications should be submitted to the associate of the Officers for equal opportunities for women in science and the arts at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law and include:

    • The application form
    • Curriculum vitae including a list of publications
    • Letter of support from the Chair (or for assistant professors: from a professor in a related subject at the faculty). Please note the checklist for the letter of support.
    • A short project description that explains the preliminary work already carried out and a work plan detailing the content and schedule for the funding period in question (approx. 3 pages plus work plan)
    • Placement of the project in the applicant’s career plan

    Application period:

    Applications are to be submitted by November 15 and May 15. After reviewing all application documents, you will receive feedback with further information.
